Andrew Hall was sentenced to four years in prison Monday after he pleaded guilty to delivery of a controlled substance (heroin) in connection with the death of Gina Dominick in late June 2008. Her body was found in June 30, 2008 in her car in the parking lot of the Prospect Heights Public Library.
Andrew Hall was arrested in September 2008 in Chandler, Arizona on a warrant charging him with drug-induced homicide. Andrew Hall had been interviewed by police soon after Gina Dominick’s death in June, and admitted to selling heroin. After toxicology reports confirmed Gina Domick’s death was drug induced, Hall was first held after his arrest in Maricopa County jail in Arizona.
Bail was set at $500,000 in October 2008 for Andrew Hall, 21, who has been charged with the drug-induced homicide after supplying the heroin that killed Gina Dominick. Hall, a former resident of Mount Prospect, had moved to Chandler, Arizona and admitted selling the heroin that killed Gina Dominick, 20, of Prospect Heights.
Gina Dominick took heroin with Thomas Young at his parents home in the 100 block of Prospect Court in Prospect Heights. Young fell asleep, and when he woke up, Gina Dominick was dead in an upstairs bathroom of the home. Thomas Young dragged or carried her body down the stairs, put Gina’s body in her car in the front passenger seat and drove her car to the Prospect Heights Public Library rear parking lot. He left her there and walked away from the scene. A security camera at the library that was just installed, captured the criminal act. The parking lot was less than 100 yards from the lot line of his parents home. Young is charged with concealing a homicide.
