US Coast Guard Drill: Verbalized “Bang, Bang” News Spirals Up to “Shots Fired”
A report of shots fired at the Apple Store Clarendon in Arlington, Virginia shortly after the store opened Friday morning at about 10 a.m. EDT. The shooting is possibly related to an armed robbery.
At least one person, a female store employee, was shot in the shoulder, and has been transported out of the store by paramedics. The 26-year-old employee was listed in serious, but stable condition.
Witnesses report hearing a loud gunshot coming from a back room and a woman screaming. The woman said someone had been shot. The gunshot was heard after the sound of a lot of boxes falling in the back room.

SUSPECT DESCRIPTION:
The suspect is described as black/male with a light to medium build, in his twenties (or 30-45) and wearing a fake beard. Some of his clothing was a beige color. He had a dark baseball cap and his shirt was a short sleeve shirt. The offender fled from the back of the Apple Store — out a back door.
There is a heavy police response from Arlington Police Department at the store and police are using at least one U.S. Park Police helicopter and K-9 units to search for the suspect. A search perimeter has been established around the Apple Store location at 2700 Clarendon Boulevard in Arlington, Virginia. The store is temporarily closed.
The Apple Store Clarendon is located in the Market Common outdoor shopping center about two miles northwest of the Pentagon on the west side of the Potomac River. Arlington National Cemetery is located between the Pentagon and the Apple Store Clarendon.
