Buffalo Grove police received a call for help about 5:30 a.m. for the report of a male intruder in a condominium apartment at 5 Villa Verde about 5:30 a.m. Wednesday. The man apparently entered a patio sliding glass door and was seen inside the condominium apartment.
The man is described as a male/Hispanic in his early 40’s with short black, salt-and-pepper hair, about 5′ 8″ with a thin build — possibly about 150 pounds. He was wearing gray sweat pants and a dark T-shirt. He was possibly carrying a lunch box. He exited the sliding glass patio door and was last seen headed southbound from Building 5 toward Building 6 and possibly south toward University Drive in Arlington Heights.
Buffalo Grove police have several squads and a K-9 unit searching the area.
