Hanover Park police and paramedics responded to a stabbing in a home east of County Farm Road and south of Stearns Road near the Lawrence Avenue intersection and a pet cemetary. A 51 year-old woman was stabbed and found dead when officials arrived at about 6:00 p.m.
UPDATE: The Daily Herald is reporting that a relative, who lives in Arlington Heights has identified the victim as her aunt, Pamela Howat, 51.
The DuPage County Major Crimes Task force is investigating.
