An armed robbery was reported to the Arlington Heights police about 3:15 p.m. Wednesday. The robbery was reported to have occurred in the parking lot of Denny’s on Algonquin Road, just west of Arlington Heights Road. A woman reported she was robbed by two black males. At least one of the men had a black handgun with a brown handle. The men fled eastbound on Algonquin Road in a navy blue Ford Expedition with whitewall tires.
Arlington Heights police are investigating.
