... #ad▼SEP 28 2008 MOGADISHU, Somalia — Heavily armed U.S. destroyer (USS Howard) was stationed off the coast of Somalia to prevent pirates from removing 33 T-72 tanks, ammunition and other heavy weapons from a hijacked Ukrainian cargo ship that was en route to Kenya.
As of November 17, 2008, the fate of the Ukrainian ship Faima and crew are still unknown.
