Mercury Grand Marquis parked halfway inside the Elegant Style Salon Wednesday.
A silver sedan crashed into a hair salon while parking into a parking space in front of Elegant Style Salon at 214 East Grove Street near Northwest Metalcraft and 7-Eleven on South Arlington Heights Road.
An employee of the salon was injured in the accident and taken to the hospital by Arlington Heights Fire Department paramedics. The car, a Mercury Grand Marquis also damaged the interior of the hair salon and intruded into the business to about one-half the length of the car.
An Arlington Heights Fire Department fire engine crew stood by while Hillside Towing pulled the car out of the beauty shop.
