At about 9:30 p.m. and three hours after an earlier armed robbery at Palatine and Windsor Road, a second armed robbery was reported at a White Hen at Hintz and Windsor. The second armed robbery occurred less than one mile from the first armed robbery.
The robber was described as a 45 year-old white female, wearing a royal blue scarf and a long blue coat. The offender displayed a handgun, was carrying a brown bag and was last seen walking toward the Garden Fresh grocery building.
Police from Wheeling and Prospect Heights assisted the Arlington Heights Police Department.
