Stacy Ann Peterson, 23, is a white female, 5-feet 2-inches tall, 100 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. She has a tattoo of a blue and yellow carnation on her lower back and a scar across her stomach. She was reported missing by her family at 4:00 a.m. on Monday. Last contact was 10:00 a.m. Sunday. Stacy Peterson was scheduled to help a friend with painting, but did not show up. Stacy is a nursing student at Joliet Junior College.
Stacy Peterson is married to Drew Peterson, 53, who is a Bolingbrook Police Department sergeant. Stacy is Drew Peterson’s fourth wife. In March 2004, Drew Peterson’s third wife (Savio) was found dead in a bathtub in her Pheasant Chase home. The Peterson’s were divorced and Drew was returning their two son’s to their home when they found the door locked, called a locksmith to gain entry and found Savio dead in an empty bath tub. A coroner ruled her death as a drowning, and no charges were filed.
Drew Peterson about 20 years ago was discharged from the police department for soliciting drugs in exchange for information about the Metropolitan Area Narcotics Squad, but was reinstated in March 1986 after a judge ruled that Peterson’s charges were not proven.
