Buffalo Grove Condo Clubhouse Fire

Buffalo Grove Fire Department responded to the report of smoke coming from the second floor windows of the condominium clubhouse at 5 Oak Creek Drive about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday night. Police officers arrived first and confirmed that smoke was coming from the second floor.

The fire was knocked down quickly.  Arlington Heights Fire Department responded with an  engine that took position at the front door of the building. Palatine Rural Fire Department, Long Grove Fire Department and Wheeling Fire Department also assisted Buffalo Grove Fire Department. Firefighters had to knock out all second floor windows to fully ventilate the Mansard roof style building.
