Schaumburg Police Department officers are investigating the scene of a homicide at a home in the 1400 block of Somerset Lane in Schaumburg [MAP/SAT]. Keith Daugherty, 40, was stabbed after he answered the door to find a man demanding money just before 9:00 a.m. Wednesday. Police are looking for a 180-pound male, 5′ 11″ to 6’0″ tall, who left the scene driving a tan sport utility vehicle (SUV). Daugherty’s wife was also home at the time of the murder.
