Numerous Flash Flooding Reports And Rescues Are Underway

There are numerous reports of flooding including Northwest Highway north
of Vail in Arlington Heights, Northwest Highway near Rohlwing Road in
Palatine and areas along Lake Cook Road (including the Arlington Heights
road intersection) and Thomson Blvd and Deerfield and Buffalo Grove Road
in Buffalo Grove. Areas along Devon Avenue in Elk Grove Village are also reported flooded.  There are reports of cars with water up to the windshields in many of
these locations with police and fire personnel searching these cars to make sure people are not trapped in their cars.
