A large construction crane is now in place for building the steel frame of the new village hall at the corner of Sigwalt and Arlington Heights Road. The new building will add to the skyline view from southbound Arlington Heights Road approaching Miner Street and from northbound Arlington Heights Road, north of Park Street.

The completion of the Village Hall will mark the completion of the new Municipal Campus, which was named the John G. Woods Municipal Campus at the Village Board meeting on October 10, 2005. The Arlington Heights Municipal Campus includes Arlington Heights Fire Station One, Police Headquarters and the new Village Hall. The temporary Village Hall is located at 3436 N. Kennicott (near Dundee Road).
Completion date for the new Arlington Heights Village Hall is expected to by December 2007.

The new village hall will replace the old Municipal Building at the same location of 33 South Arlington Heights Road. The older building was cramped, inefficiet and difficult and costly to maintain.
